Let it Snow!

So the only time of the year I don't have much beef with the snow is December. It's so christmasy and it makes me so happy!! It's so magical. Don't get me wrong, there are things about it I love no matter when it comes, but after that magic is gone, it's hard to completely enjoy it. So, while the magic is present, I definitely enjoy it while I can!!

It snowed a TON a few weekends ago!! It was so pretty and kind of fun to dig my car out of. I didn't have a car scraper yet though, so good thing my handy dandy spatula was put to good use. Thanks Catherine!! I posted a picture out this window (click here) a while back in the fall, and so I thought it was neat to see the different seasons. I'll take another one in the Spring. :)

That night after the first major snow fall, KR and I went for a walk in the winter wonderland! It was so pretty and we had so much fun!!

Another weekend, KR and I went to Catherine and Brian's and the boys made a sled! They got skis from the DI and built a sled with the left-over siding from the shed.

We also built a great snow man!!!


We went sledding that night and it was so fun!!! The boys took some crazy hills on! I took the safer ones in the park.



It got a bit of wear and tear but it was a handy sled that was awesome!
Oh and random: I was goofing around with my favorite perfume and my beautiful ring!

It makes me smile to think. . .

. . . that I get to be his wife for eternity!

We've already been engaged for one month exactly!

Thanksgiving!!!

I know these are very over due but better late than never. We had a wonderful thanksgiving. We went to Catherine and Brian's again, but this year, we had Michelle and the boys there too! It was so fun to have a full house and lots of family around!The boys kept busy by playing in the crawl space under the house. haha.

They even brought the skateboards down there. It wasn't even tall enough to stand down there!

But then, he got scared! I had him focus right on me and no where else while KR got him down.
After thanksgiving day, we girls did a crafty project! We painted over a painting.







Yay! I am so thankful for KR's family always welcoming me and making me feel part of the family. I am so grateful for my own family and I missed them all down in California.

We went ice skating!!



We had so much fun! I love ice skating! I pretend I am doing a routine for the judges, just like I used to on my roller blades.

BYU vs Air Force football game! It was pretty cold! Do we look engaged? :)
So every BYU sporting even seems to have the Papa Johns pizza give away. They pick a random little section and give them free pizza. The pizza gets with them and they all cheer for the camera when prompted. Well, Jen and her friend Heather came to say hi and wound up just staying with us. Not too long after, Heather says, "The pizza is sitting in our seats!"
Jen and Heather were sitting right where that pizza mascot is now sitting! I felt so bad and I could tell Jen was mad (I would have been too). But you can't help but laugh at the irony. Or just plain bad luck.
