TWO MAIN EVENTS

First here's a picture of us at a surprise party for David (Sarah Swanson's husband). KR went skiing that day so he was a little pink from the sun :)
Oh and I printed off a few more pictures to add to my wall. So this is the most current picture of my room. I like it. :)
I am signed up with kraftkitchen.com and they email me a newsletter every week and one time I got a recipe for this salmon with tomatoes and spinach and mushrooms. Well, it looked divine, but I hate fish, so I decided to make it with chicken instead. I waited for so long before I finally got to make it for KR but it was well worth it. I was so proud of myself and it really tasted so good. The best part is that I wound up changing the recipe a little and it turned out well. I felt like I was Catherine, all intuitive in the kitchen and making things up as I went. Haha. We put it over rice and KR seemed to really enjoy it too.

Sarah, Leisl and I share milk and we go through it SOOO fast. We LOVE cereal and so that's a big reason why. So, once when Leisl bought the milk that time, she wrote us a little note and it just made me smile. We really do <3 milk.
Ok so now we are to the main event #1: the BYU vs Utah basketball game. It was the century game (the 100th game) against our rivals, the Utes. It was a huge deal. People even camped out in tents all week (freeeezing!!). KR had a friend who was crazy enough to do this, but let us cut with him about an hour before the doors opened that day. So we got a pretty good spot in line. The line wrapped clear around the entire Marriott center when we got there, and I don't even know how much longer it go after we got in it. Here's some pictures from the line.

KR's friends who had camped out and saved us a spot. Thanks guys!!

Finally the line started moving and we got some pretty good seats.
It was a white-out game, so everyone was wearing white and it was awesome.
They handed out towels to swing around whenever we cheered. It was such an awesome sight. I wish I was able to really capture the entire atmosphere in a picture, but it's just impossible to understand unless you were there.
We started out the game losing, but I think it was really because of the refs. Isn't it always that way?? We were ticked! But then we had a come back and took the momentum and ran with it! We wound up winning by ike 13 points and it was INSANE in there. SOOO loud and high energy. It was the funnest sporting event ever!!

Main event #2: Ice Skating stake activity.

All my roommates went, and KR, Andy and Gabe came too. It was such a fun with all of us out together. Plus, I have been wanting to go ice skating since before Christmas so I was way excited.

Amanda was hanging on to her purse for dear life.
Finally, Andy and Leisl helped her out a little haha.
I tried taking a picture with KR while we were skating but it didn't work out too well haha. I kept cutting him off with my feet because I wasn't paying attention and would start drifting. Yes, we almost ate it.
So we stopped and took it standing still. haha. Much better.
Oh and a side event, Amanda and I went to the mall! Neither of us have cars though so we took the bus! It was an adventure! I love this picture because it looks like I actually have hair! hahah.
Just being silly in Forever 21. I love this picture too, just because it's cute and so us. We are SUCH roommates :)

I can't believe you don't like fish! But I am so proud of you for getting adventurous in the kitchen! See, I told you, you just have to get brave and start trying stuff. That chicken looks tasty!
P.S. I'm making fish next time you visit... haha:)
