I'm a cougar!!

WHY hello there my faithful fans!

I just had my first two classes and they were great so far. Not bad, and I don't know why I was freaking my self out so bad. Most likely they will be a little more challenging than community college, but not too hard that I can't handle them. I am just so out of the routine of schoolwork because it seems as if it's been forever since I have been in a full load semester. My last semester of school was sort of a goof off semester, so I have to get back into the swing of things. But it should be easier because everyone here is serious about studying, unlike at OCC...no offense David....

So here's a map of my campus. As you can see, it is very very big. I have 5 classes, in 4 different buildings, shown in pink. The green building is the Wilkinson Student Center. It's where the CougarEat, Byu Bookstore, bowling alley, Ballrooms, everything you need to know about campus and your records and all that stuff. It's huge. You can click the picture and see it bigger. It's pretty exciting, I know. I live 5 blocks south of campus, and it's uphill to school from my house. I ride my bike every time I need to go, and so far it hasn't been bad at all. I love my bike so...
I am taking Statistics, which I already took a class on that, but I guess this course is emphasized on Psychology Statistics, which I need for my major. I also had History of Psychology today, which seems like the teacher will be ok, the subject not so much. We'll see. Tonight I have my English class, the one I'm least excited about. I have never been that great at writing, so we'll see on that one as well.
So like I have mentioned before I have been having a blast and making new friends. I love how everywhere you go, people just introduce themselves because they are new too. I was eating lunch at a table in the Wilk( thats code for the Wilkinson Student Center, also known as big green building on Heather's map) and two girls at the same time, who didn't know each other either, sat down and and we all chatted for the first time. And in math, we got a chance to exchange numbers with people to form study groups, and we met friends that way. And of course I have my new buddy Karli, who I think I mentioned meeting at New Student Orientation. She and I have hung out a lot, and last night I met her roommates. BAM! More friends! Ha ha. But they are game players too, and she's got lots of movies, and they have A/C in their apartment, and Karli has a car and she always insists on picking me up. I joke with her about how I picked a good friend(because of all the benefits she can offer. haha.) But of course I am just kidding. She's so fun and that's why I am her friend.
I don't know how much I mentioned about my new job, but I guess tomorrow I start officially. I was trained a little bit last Friday, and I feel no where near ready. But we'll see how I do. Ha Ha.
Aside from all this fun stuff I have been up to and the people I have met, I still miss home terribly. I miss all my friends, you know who you are. I miss my family.I just want you to all know I pray for you every night, and I get a little lonely, so feel free to email me back if you can or want to. I love you all.
Have a Terrific Tuesday!
