Before I begin, here is a random picture of two of my roommates and me on Sunday. I ALWAYS have my camera and I pulled it out and took a picture of us cute girls in the hall way. I was having a great hair day, what can I say??
This is Leisl, Amanda and me

Ok no words can describe this next event I want to talk about. I will try but I will also fail. KR and his roommates have begun hosting Bunko Nights in their apartment, Winter Quarters 1-0-Fun (101) and oh my gosh!! It was a RIOT! There were 20 people this week, and for those of you who have only heard of Bunko and how it is stereotyped for older women, you would have been shocked. Imagine a room full of 20 competitive (especially a few of us who were VERy competitive) people playing a dice game. To put things in perspective, I was screaming at the top of my lungs most of the time, and no one even flinched or looked at me because they were all doing the same thing. People were knocking over chairs and jumping up on tables and yelling and screaming and "fighting" so loudly that people down the street came up to see what was going on. It was SOOO fun oh my gosh you don't even know. This group of people has made Bunko cool! The way you win a prize is by either getting most wins, most losses, most bunkos or most snake eyes. I was going for most losses and was SO close! So you can imagine the drama that would occur if someone wants to LOSE and someone wants to WIN. It was INTENSE!
The winners stood up on the "podiums" while the Olympic theme song played. SUCH A BLAST!
My roommate Christy got engaged last semester. She moved out this semester but still pops in from time to time. She's getting married on Valentine's Day!! Her bridal shower was last Saturday! It was fun for all us roommates to be together at once and it was just super exciting!!
Here's me and Christy! She's so gorgeous!! What a beautiful bride I can't wait!!
We played one of those games where she has to guess what answers he will say, and then you watch his answers on the video. Whenever he would smile, we would all laugh about how they have the same smile! So we made her go up there and smile next to him! Aren't they adorable?? I swear they have twin souls, it's incredible!! AH!
Me and Leisl at the shower!
Opening presents! Cute bra! hahah
I LOVE these aprons. I think they are SO adorable. I want one! I just love aprons in general.
So last week I think it was, Carli called me saying she had two free meals to Tucano's and asked if I wanted to go with her! OH MY GOSH!! Tucano's, for those of you who don't know, is a brazillian bbq that is all you can eat, like the Greenhouse in Long Beach. It's kinda pricey so it was so awesome she had free meals!! Oh my gosh!

We had two plates of regular food from the amazing salad bar, plus all the meat we had!!
Oh and since my meal was free, I thought it would be ok to splurge and get a yummy drink. When I asked the waitress about this drink, she said it was for banana lovers. Um can you say Heather?? It was SOOOO good but it just added to my fulness in the end haha. No regrets though!! I ate as much as possible!!

this is just my leftover meat!

KR made me promise to try the pineapple, even though he knows I don't like it. But it's bbq and has brown sugar and stuff on it and EVERY one I told about this night, asked if I tried it, or told me it was their favorite part of going there. SO, as promised, I tried it. I am not going to lie, it was not horrible. I think it's the texture more than anything that I don't like about pineapple. But the flavor was pretty good and the after taste kept making me think I wanted more. Then I would bite more and be like eh....but then it would be gone and I wanted more again haha. I ate the whole little corner of this pretty good sized piece. See?

Me and Carli on the way out, stuffed to the max! I seriously almost died. Thanks Carli! What a fun date!! :)

One Friday night, KR and I made BBQ pizza. We used a roll out crust, which KR perfectly timed, without a timer. We didn't have a recipe, we just went off what I remembered from eating it and then experimenting over the summer. I am so good! haha. No, just kidding. But this PIZZA was SO good. Man I want some more now! haha.

One the way to KR's roommate's swim meet, KR shared some Hubba Bubba Max bubble gum with me. Being the competetive person I am, I challenged him to a contest. Whoever could blow the biggest bubble was the winner. Well, as you can tell from this picture, KR won. He was too good at it. Mine just kept feeling like it was going to fly out of my mouth. He may have won, but it sure was fun to watch it pop all over his face every time.

Early in the season, about mid to early January, I received a package from Linda!! I had asked her to mail my nail kit but she included some Valentine's day goodies!! She even included a chocolate football for KR!! He loved it, and I loved my own huge box of See's candy! (I didn't offer much to anyone. I learned my lesson last year when my roommates ate it all gone!) Here is a picture of KR cutting his football (and his new hair cut).

MLK day. No school! It was SO nice to have a break already! haha. Earlier in the day, KR and I played basketball against my roommate Sarah and her bf Gabe (I am just realizing I didn't get a picture! Dang it!) It was so fun, but I hadn't eaten anything so I was like really dizzy. Usually I am stubborn and will keep playing, even if I am horrible at it. After a while though, I had to stop and I was really angry. I am such a poor sport haha.

Later that night, we went to Carli's house for a party! Well, just a bunch of people hanging out! She is living with her aunt and uncle this semester and they live in this sweet house. They had the perfect house for entertaining. The basement is where we were (and where these pictures are of) and it was like, Island themed or beach or tropical, whatever you want to say. Of course you know, I was in LOVE with it! OH my gosh!! I love that stuff. Palm trees, ocean, beached! LOVE it.

Here is a picture of the bar. See how cute???

If you look over there, you'll see a punching bag. I have never really tried on of those but I learned something about myself that night. I need one of those in my house. BADLY. I have always been impatient and really bad at getting frsutrated and needing a way to vent. One night in our apartment, I was kicking the pillow across the room as hard as I could. I remember kicking our lazy boy repeatedly once when I was SUPER frustrated at the fact some people were SUPER late and I couldn't do anything about it. I got REALLY into kickboxing when we did it in my aerobics class. So, you can imagine how amazing it felt to kick that punching bag. I punched a few times and was like eh. But then I went up for a kick and WHOA! I was like OH my gosh. I kicked it agan. Then again and soon I was kicking it over and over and over again as hard as I could. KR was like, "whoa...." and kind of backed off. I have never felt that much relief! And I didn't really have anything I was stressing or mad about at that moment. Imagine when I am really mad??? I NEED one of those things really bad.
They had a theater room and it was SO awesome! They had the big screen with a projector on it! After a while of hanging out in the other room playing pool and stuff, I heard they changed the channel. I ran into KR and said, "Come look! This is the only way to watch a basketball game!" He got super excited and we both ran in and started watching. AND it was a Laker game! WOO! Everyone was trash talking the Lakers (as usual) but we won so it was great. Haha. It was such a fun night.

Look at what we got to sit in while watching! Each one reclines. SO comfortable. And the front one is a double reclining love seat.
After a lot of people left, and we went hot tubbing, some of the boys went into the little play house and were playing with the dolls and kitchen toys. Yes, these are boys in college. The one with the hat, and the one in the back with the mittens, are SUPER tall. Like, I swear Hawk is like at least 7 feet. It was HILARIOUS to watch.

Although KR joined in for a second, coming to the window from the outside and asking for some breakfast, he was mostly just watching them and laughing. Hahaha.

So just this last Saturday, KR's sister Catherine and their other sister Calene and her family came down for the BYU basketball game. Afterwards, we got pizza and ate it and it was such a fun time. Catherine had never been to a BYU basketball game! So we had to document her first time going! ahaha

So I think that about does it! I have such a fun life don't I? Things are going great, I am having a blast. I am on track to graduate in April still. I can't believe that. Yikes! It's boggling my mind that in 3 months, I will techinically be out of school. I will have no homework, no tests, no reading assignments, no quizzes, no lectures to take notes on. But, the tradeoff makes me sad. I will be a grown up. I will have to start contributing to the world. My only expectation in life from society won't be to just learn. AH! So, it's bittersweet! But in the meantime, I am definitely making the most of my last semester! YA HOO!
