47 weeks

*dean has these toys for the bath that have little holes to drain water out, like a strainer. He figured out that if he puts it.in the water, it fills up and then he lifts it and it drains.
*he also has some nesting cups in the bath, that he figured out if he hands me one, he then grabs another and puts it inside the first and so on!
*hes figured out how to flip the handle on his tool box so once he hammers the shapes in to the holes, he can flip the middle piece and get to them again.
*KR started im gonna get your nose but dean leans in with a hige smile and.his mouth open and gives him his nose. It's still adorable!!
*I've noticed he flips the pages less when we read to him. In a good way, only when we actually need to, so we can actually finish reading each page haha.
*he's started, all on his own, covering an item with his hands and then revealing it. Peek a boo! When he reveals it, he puts his hands up like where did it go?
*i usually pray out loud and lately Dean will say Amen when I finish
*we borrowed some wipes one day for a quick diaper change and he got a horrible rash! For 3 days, every single diaper change, I rinsed him in the tub, dabbed with a wash cloth, blow dried with the blow dryer, let him go naked and then plaster with cream and a diaper one size up. Oy.
*we went to the park with our neighbor and her son who is one month older. We were laying on the blanket and Dean wouldn't crawl off it, like his little friend. He doesn't like grass! She and I are both germ freaks, but luckily I got a son evil so far doesn't like the grass. Side story: this lady with a small dog walked by and was like, so you want me to bring her closer, the worst she will do is lick. I said, that's the absolute worst thing that can happen! So she kept her a bit away, and I lied and said how cute she was cuz I felt bad. But my friend laughed later and thanked me over and over haha. We both were freaking out! Sick don't lick my child!!
*Story time! I took Dean to the library that's less than half a mile away, so we can walk. The same neighbor invited me and it finally worked out with deans naptime. It was fun! Although i was freaked out over germs, he didnt want to leave my lap anyway. And I did let him touch a communal book (which sidenote, he got hoarse later thst day and im convinced he got sick! Haha) but they dang little songs with actions and did bubbles. Dean looooved bubbles! Good thing I already got some in his Easter basket(which is already assembled and I've been dying to give to him!)
*Saturday, he started this tiny little Squeak "oh" sounds that's just like a tiny gasp. It's so cute. A tiny bit of me it's worried it is something with his lungs, like associated with his hoarseness. But I'm sure it's coincidence. I hope anyway.
*he just loves KRs pillow. He cuddles it, plays with it, hides under it, just gets so happy with it haha.
KR started his surgery rotation. He gets up at 415 and gets home about 7ish. Not horrible but an adjustment and I wish he could get more sleep. Dean has done a little better this week, do that helps. Then his Saturday, he got off at 10 which was a nice surprise. We can do it! It's just harder.

Oh Saturday, KR had priesthood session of conference so we went out to eat at sweet tomatoes and then I dropped him off at the lake Oswego stake center and went to deseret book. It was ladies night and I wanted to go but not alone. Finally I decided to and ran into my two friends I talk to the most in my ward haha. I also ran in to two elderly women from my old ward. It was so fun! They had raffles and food, although I didn't eat any, too full. And everything was 20% off so I got a few Jesus books for Dean. They also had this painting I became obsessed with!! Like, obsessed!!! It matches our living room and hutch perfectly!!! And although it's the salt lake temple, we've never been there together or anything, not inside anyway, it's a classic temple that is gorgeous and can be displayed anywhere. Ahh! It was 60% off too!!! But, even so, that discount brought it to 80 which I couldn't justify haha. Oh well. So I took a picture to remember it. Now I journaled the memory haha
