Well, we went up to Snowbird again this weekend! We met up with Catherine and Brian again and met Calene, Aaron and the kids up at the trams. We rode them up to the top and looked out over the world (or at least Utah). It was a lot colder than I remembered. It didn't help that we had unusually warm weather down in Provo so I almost wore shorts! Good thing I didn't! But then I left my jacket in KR's car when we switched over to Catherine and Brian's. Poor KR! He let me wear his jacket and he just used a blanket. He's usually so hot though anyway and especially after he and the kids hiked down a bit and then back up. He was ok but I still felt bad! It was so fun to have a new tradition! Getting older, I feel like all my old and favorite traditions are slowly disappearing but it was so fun to see a new one form! Not to mention, I can't believe it's only been one year since I met those sister's of his and their families. I feel like it's been forever that I've known them. Or at least that's how I feel; I don't know about them. But I feel like they are so welcoming and inclusive that I am so comfortable and happy spending time with them. They really are some neat people that I have grown to love and I am grateful for them since my family is so far away.
Well, here are some pictures from Snowbird. Hope everybody else had a great weekend!! <3
I know KR's eyes are mostly closed in this picture but I still liked it a lot.
Oh and I can't forget! It was Catherine's birthday on Wednesday so we celebrated that night. KR and I got her a set of 101 cookie cutters to make many, many more of those fabulous cookies we love to make!!
